International award-wining writer and producer of Oscar nominated film Saawan, Riasat main Riasat and upcoming mega budget film Qulfee, Dr. Mashood Qadri has announced to make another movie on the subject of COVID-19 under the banner of Kalakar Entertainments. He broke the news on the auspicious occasion of 14th August 73rd Independence Day of Pakistan.
The independent Filmmaker, owners of Kalakar Films USA and Kalakar Entertainments USA – Pakistan writer and Producer Dr. Mashood Qadri is a physician by profession and an astute film writer, a maker of “Saawan- Pakistan – A Story of A Polio Child “, a Winner of 9 international films awards and is currently available on the streaming platform.
Dr Qadri has announced two of his new films under the banner of Kalakar Films.
Dr Qadri further announced Kalakar Films has become a part of the bigger consortium with 2 other independent overseas film making companies for their upcoming projects.
He further announced that he is going to release multiple films in the next 12 months exclusively for The Streaming Network. He said that he wants to shoot the films in as many countries as possible.
He optimistically believes that lifting everyone’s spirit is rather more important than to remain fearful of the circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic and spread negativity. Therefore he resorted to making films for streaming platforms in order to bring more hope among individuals. The Live streaming aims to discuss and raise voice on the issues that have everything to do with a common man and have very little to do with politics and issues that do not aim to improve the state of our citizens.
These Films have something new to bring to the table and will intrigue you to think out of the box. He doesn’t believe in monotonous scripts and he believes that the film should not be restricted to one language or nation, and that the film should know no boundary when it comes to humanity.
